The F-150 Raptor is designed and developed by the Ford Performance team to the highest possible standards. It has a new exterior but builds on its well-known design. The characteristic front accentuates the width of the pickup, with a new, arched bonnet, black grille and LED headlights. Despite its hard and tough exterior, the interior features an opening panoramic glass roof and electrically heated and ventilated seats, which, together with state-of-the-art FOX™ shock absorption and five-point suspension, make your journey to your destination comfortable – no matter how extreme the surface on the way there.
Five-point suspension with panhard rod
The 5-link rear suspension features extra-long trailing arms to better maintain axle position on rough terrain, a panhard rod and 24-inch coil springs – the longest in the class. In the F-150 Raptor, everything with the suspension design has been fine-tuned to perfection to deliver high driving comfort, stability, handling and control, while being able to push maximum torque to the rear wheels for quicker starts off the line, faster acceleration and better throttle responsiveness.
Master the ground with Terrain Management System
With Ford's Terrain Management System, you can easily adjust to the surface you are driving on in each moment. Choose from seven different driving modes, and the Terrain Management System will adjust the steering, torque, transmission and power distribution between the wheel axles to get you around safely in the best way, no matter what the surface of the journey is.
Max control with the FOX Racing Shox shock absorption system
The F-150 Raptor features perhaps the world's best shock absorption system, the FOX Racing Shox, with the fascinating Live Valve technology. Live Valve is a long line of sensors that read in real time how the car behaves and what the surface looks like. At lightning speed, the system adjusts the damping to react even faster to changes in the terrain.
