F-150 Recycling & Extended Producer Responsibility

In Sweden, a car has an average lifespan of about 17 years before it needs to be scrapped.

Car manufacturers and importers have a producer responsibility for end-of-life vehicles, meaning they are responsible for ensuring that the cars are handled in an environmentally friendly way when they can no longer be used.

According to the producer responsibility regulations, at least 95 percent of an end-of-life vehicle must be recycled.
In addition, such vehicles must be accepted free of charge through a nationwide collection system.

Hedin US Motor AB cooperates with Stena Recycling AB to meet the legal requirements for producer responsibility.
