New Ford F‑150 model launches in Europe

Since its debut in 1978, the Ford F-150 has become an automotive icon and remains the best-selling pickup truck in the United States for 49 consecutive years, frequently topping overall vehicle sales charts. In Europe, the F-150 was officially introduced in 2023 through a select dealer network, which has since expanded to 16 countries—reflecting growing demand for this Built Ford Tough™ model.

Today, we introduce the Ford F-150 XLT as part of the 2026 model year line-up, bringing the core strengths of the F-150 to a broader audience. The XLT delivers the strength, capability and everyday versatility customers expect from an F-150.

The new addition is positioned as a more affordable entry‑level model in the F‑150 portfolio, while remaining true to authentic V8 power and proven performance. What sets the XLT apart is its truly flexible cabin, offering seating for up to six occupants alongside genuine cargo‑carrying capability, both in the second row and the large pick‑up bed. This configuration is particularly advantageous in markets such as Norway and Denmark, where rear seats are removed to allow vehicles to be approved as light commercial trucks.
